Why we built ExtMoney

Most money apps quietly monetise you. Your transactions become ad targeting, your habits become a product sold to third parties, and the “free” app is free because you are the inventory. For something as personal as your finances, we think that's the wrong trade.

ExtMoney takes the opposite stance. It's a calm, private place to see your whole financial picture — accounts, transactions, transfers, recurring plans, savings goals and net worth — for yourself, your household or your business, in any currency. No ads. No data sales. Your records, stored in the EU, exportable and deletable at any time.

The AI is there when you want it — dictate a transaction, snap a receipt, get a plain-language read on your spending — and completely absent when you don't.

ExtMoney is made by Zanket Group, a software studio that designs, builds and secures corporate online products. Our team — 20+ engineers in permanent contact — works across the full stack: Python, Go, TypeScript and Node.js on the back end; React and Next.js on the web; Flutter and SwiftUI on mobile; Docker, Kubernetes, AWS and GCP in the cloud; and modern AI integration where it genuinely helps.

Zanket also runs a penetration-testing practice — certified specialists (OSCP, CEH) who simulate real-world attacks against apps, networks and cloud, following PTES, NIST and MITRE ATT&CK. That security discipline isn't a bolt-on; it shapes how ExtMoney is built. We treat your financial data the way we'd want ours treated: minimised, encrypted, access-controlled, and never handed to advertisers.

Security by design

ExtMoney is built by people who break into systems for a living. Encryption in transit and at rest, hashed passwords, and every access boundary enforced on the server.

Your data stays in the EU

Records are stored in the European Union (Germany). Voice transcription runs in the EU, and our AI residency is EU-first.

AI is optional

Voice entry, receipt scanning and spending insights are off by default and enabled only with your explicit, revocable consent. The app works fully without them.

You own your records

A free, machine-readable export whenever you want it, and a one-click, irreversible account delete. No lock-in, no ransom.
