Dashboard is the overview screen after login: net worth with a chart, current month's income/expenses, accounts, next 7 days (scheduled transactions and debt reminders), goals, expenses by category, large expenses, AI insight of the week, bank connection statuses, and a counter for untagged transactions. Each card leads to its full section.
Widget "Untagged"
Counts transactions that don't have any tags assigned. The "Sort out" button opens a list of transactions with the "Untagged" filter already enabled — not the entire registry where you'd have to find these entries by eye.
The same filter is available on its own: on the "Transactions" page, it's the "Untagged" chip next to the account and period filters. Click again to remove it. It's convenient to then tag items in bulk — see "Mass tagging and merging".
In the mobile app, this counter is also shown, but it's informational: there's no "untagged" filter in the transaction list yet.
Budgets
A budget is a monthly limit for a category. The expense report tells you how much was spent; the budget tells you if it's a lot or not.
Where: web — "Accounting → Budgets" (/app/budgets); app — Menu → Budgets. Both pages also open by clicking the "Budgets" card on the dashboard.
How it works. Select a category and set a limit. Then, expenses for that category are counted from the 1st of the current month: a bar shows the proportion, and the label indicates how much is left or how much it's exceeded. The bar is green up to 80%, yellow from 80%, and red when over budget — 80% is chosen because it's the last moment when you can still change your behavior this month.
What's important to know:
- One category — one budget. A category that already has a budget is not offered in the selection list.
- You cannot change the category of an existing budget — this would silently reassign month's history. Delete the budget and create a new one.
- Only expenses are counted. Transfers between your own accounts and debts are not included in the limit: moving your own money is not spending.
- The amount is in the team's currency, not your personal base currency. The limit is shared, and two members with different base currencies should see the same number.
- An inactive budget remains in the list, dimmed: it still occupies its category and counts towards the plan limit.
- Deleting a budget does not affect categories or transactions — only the limit is removed.
On the free plan, 3 budgets are available; on paid plans, there's no limit.
Widget "Accounts"
Shows the largest accounts and their "Total". Only accounts included in the balance are added to the card — the same ones that make up the total, so the lines and the total are always consistent. An account with "Include in balance" turned off (e.g., a mortgage you don't want to see in your net worth) is not shown in the card; it's in its place in the "Accounts" section.
Widget "Free to spend"
Answers the question "how much can I spend until the end of the month". From liquid balances (cash, accounts, cards — deposits and loans don't count), two amounts are subtracted:
- Scheduled — all occurrences of your recurring payments until the end of the month. If rent is weekly, all four occurrences will be counted, not just the nearest one.
- Regular expenses — your own typical daily spending, multiplied by the remaining days. The median daily spending over the last 90 days is used, so a single flight or a one-time large purchase doesn't inflate the estimate, and days with no spending count as zeros and don't overstate it.
The line below shows expected income — salary and other scheduled income until the end of the month. They are intentionally not included in the amount: the header should be a floor, not a forecast. A figure that spent the salary on the 25th in advance is exactly the advice after which an overdraft occurs.
If there's less than two weeks of history, the "Regular expenses" line won't appear: there's no basis for estimating habits, and it's better not to show it than to invent it.
Tap/click on the header leads to "Scheduled".
Widget "Next 7 days"
Answers the question "what money movements await me this week" and is compiled from two sources, similar to a payment calendar:
- Scheduled transactions — recurring payments and income (subscriptions, rent, salary...) by the date of the nearest occurrence.
- Debt reminders — entries with the "debt" badge: debt transactions (lent/borrowed money) for which "Remind me" is enabled, and the reminder date falls within the next 7 days. The counterparty and the debt amount are shown. A regular reminder (push/email/bell — according to your notification settings) will also arrive on the same day.
Lines are sorted by date; tap/click on the card header leads to the "Scheduled" section.
Widget "Insight of the week"
A short summary of the past week (available on the Family plan). Answers three questions:
- Was it a normal week? A single summary line: "Spent ≈ X, received ≈ Y · N transactions" — all currencies are converted to your base currency (the "≈" sign reminds you that this is an exchange rate conversion; exact amounts for each currency are in the reports). Below is a comparison with your usual week: "7 times more than usual," "15% less than usual," etc.
- If not — why? When a single transaction explains most of the expenses, the insight states it directly: "Almost the entire amount was a single transaction of 10,000 USD."
- What deserves attention? The "Highlights:" block — up to four items: noticeable changes by category ("Groceries: 122.34 EUR last week, none this week"), new recurring debits, expected payments that haven't arrived, subscription renewals next week. Small amounts (a couple of dollars in a secondary currency) are not included in the list.
The text is displayed in the language of your profile and in your base currency — if you change the language or currency, the insight updates immediately, without waiting for a rebuild. For the first few weeks, while history is accumulating, comparisons with "usual week" are not shown. With consent for AI explanations (Settings → Privacy), a coherent AI retelling of the same figures replaces the template summary.
Setup. "Customize" on the dashboard itself (or Settings → Dashboard):
- Starting screen — what opens after login: Dashboard, Transactions, Scheduled, or Goals. By default — Dashboard.
- Widgets — each block can be turned off/on. Blocks unavailable on your plan (e.g., "Large expenses" — with Plus, "Insight of the week" — with Family) are marked with a lock: instead, a card offering a plan upgrade appears on the dashboard.
In the mobile app, the dashboard is the first tab; block customization is done via a button on the screen itself, and the starting screen is in the Profile.
