Subscription and payment
Auto-renewal and what happens if payment fails

If the subscription was purchased in the mobile app
Then the store renews it, not us: the charge, its date, and reminders are handled by App Store or Google Play, and auto-renewal is disabled there in your store account. Everything below regarding a saved card and grace period applies to subscriptions paid for on the website. Details are in the article "Payment from a mobile app".
- At the end of the paid period, the system charges the payment for the next period automatically from the saved card and renews access – no action is needed.
- 7, 3, and 1 day before the end, a reminder is sent: for auto-renewal – "will renew automatically on this date", without a saved card – "renew to keep premium".
- After successful renewal, a notification "Subscription renewed" is sent.
If payment fails or there's no card – "grace period"
We do not disable access immediately. When renewal cannot be completed (card declined, not saved, or manual mode is enabled), a grace period (3 days by default) begins: access to the plan is retained, and you receive a notification "Payment required" with a deadline and a link to manually pay for the next period. If the card is present, the system will try to charge it a few more times during this period. If payment is not made by the end of the grace period, the account is switched to the free plan. To avoid losing access, go to Settings → Plan and click "Pay now" (or update card details).
