Smart Alerts and AI Insights

The app monitors your spending and tells you when something is out of the ordinary. There are two tiers, and the paid one is only the second.

Free Tier: Alerts (on any plan)

Standard statistics, no AI involved. The app learns your normal spending patterns from your own history and flags a transaction when it truly stands out—for example, six times more than usual for this category. Alerts are:

• Personal—comparisons are made against your numbers, not someone else's "1000" threshold;
• Currency-neutral—euros, dollars, and rubles are converted to your base currency;
• Unobtrusive—the app recognizes regular payments (rent, salary) and doesn't alert you about them, and you receive no more than a few alerts per day.

All of this is visible in the notification bell and comes with a human-readable reason. No subscription needed.

What "Large" Transaction Means

The term means two different things, and you shouldn't confuse them.

Alert for a large transaction is about unusualness, not size itself. Therefore, the threshold isn't fixed, amounts are converted to the base currency, small amounts below a certain minimum are ignored, and your regular payments don't trigger alerts. While there's little history, a simple fallback rule applies: everything is roughly from 1000 in the base currency.

"Largest Spending" lists—a widget on the Dashboard (top 5 in 30 days) and a section in Reports (top 50 for the period)—are not alerts. They are pure sorting by amount, without any statistics.

Therefore, it's normal for a transaction to appear in the top 5 of the widget without triggering an alert: it's large, but normal for you.

Paid Tier: AI Insights

The AI Insights add-on can be attached to any plan and provides a human explanation for each flagged alert plus a short practical tip, as well as periodic analysis. The flagging is still done by mathematics—the AI only explains.

There are two levels: Insights (weekly analysis) and Insights Pro (daily analysis as well). Pricing and setup are in Settings → Subscription; purchase is done the same way as the plan and is billed separately, with its own monthly allowance of analyses. Lock on an Alert

Without the add-on, an alert shows a locked line—"Why AI considers this an anomaly." The alert itself arrives as usual, with a free statistical reason; the lock only hides the explanation. Clicking it leads to signup.

If your monthly analysis allowance runs out, alerts continue to arrive with the free reason—just without the AI text until the next month. Nothing breaks.

When the Add-on is Active

Instead of a lock, you'll see an "Explain with AI" button—on any alert for which an explanation isn't yet available, including those that arrived before signup. In the web version, open the alert from the notification bell; in the mobile app, the button is directly below the alert in the list. Clicking it uses one analysis from your monthly allowance; reopening an already explained alert is free.

The button only appears where there's something to get: there's nothing to click on an alert with ready text.

If explanations require your consent, the button will state this and take you directly to privacy settings: to provide an explanation, this transaction's data must be sent to an external service, and this won't happen without permission.

Weekly Analysis

Once a week, after it closes, a short retrospective arrives: how much was spent and received in each currency, what changed the most, what new merchants appeared, which recurring payments were made and which are upcoming. Everything is calculated, nothing is invented.

• Deterministic text always comes first. Even without the add-on and without AI analysis consent, you'll receive text based on your actual numbers. Silence is never a result of unavailable AI.
• With the add-on and consent, the same facts are retold in lively language. If consent is not given, the analysis includes a short link: "Enable AI explanations."
• Where it arrives: always in the app feed, plus email and push notifications if you enable them for "Weekly Summaries" in your notification settings. Push is a short summary, with full text in the app. A quiet week with nothing noteworthy remains only in the feed.
• On Family and Business plans, a breakdown by Members is added—who spent how much per week, in each currency.
• In the first few weeks, the analysis honestly states that history is still accumulating, rather than comparing you to a past that doesn't yet exist.
• Privacy: when the text is written by AI, all names—merchants, members, accounts, your categories—are replaced with neutral labels before sending, and the actual names are substituted back only in the text you read. The provider sees aggregates and labels, but not your names or freeform notes.

Where Alerts Arrive

Settings → Notifications. The in-app feed is always enabled; additionally, you can enable email, push, and messenger—each notification type separately. Messenger depends on the version: Telegram for international, MAX for Russian. To use it, link a chat once in settings.

Privacy

The AI never sees your complete transactions. Only aggregates are sent—median per category, the flagged amount in your base currency, an estimate of unusualness—not a history dump. The AI cannot change your data: it only writes explanatory text.

Language

Explanations and analyses are written in the language of your profile. To change it, go to Settings → Profile.
